『SOLID ALEX』For OUTVA

A design that was delayed since last October.
It's my first time designing the appearance of a set for someone else,
feeling quite nervous about it.
I hope the sample turns out well.

Is there really anyone who dislikes a keyboard assembled with mortise and tenon joints?

Is there really anyone who dislikes a keyboard assembled with mortise and tenon joints?

HAN'S MODULAR is a small personal project I've been researching recently.
I've often seen people saying that acrylic or other sheet materials cut and stacked look ugly.
So, I started exploring how to create a different visual effect with the commonly used acrylic and stainless steel sheets.
For this design, I incorporated a mortise and tenon structure similar to woodworking locks, along with some prefabricated positioning parts to complete the look.
I have to say, the combination of metal, transparent fluorescent color, and curved structure does give off a bit of a Y2K vibe.
Right now, I'm super excited to have placed an order for production (it's cheaper than CNC) 💁.

A Toy with a Departure from the Main Style – GANZO 60

A Toy with a Departure from the Main Style – GANZO 60

Recently, the main line products have been gradually going through the proofing process.
The long-awaited small layout 60 has finally had the time to be perfected.
(The factory might be driven crazy by me)
This time, the design language attempted some iteration, upgrading from the previous kitchenware style to a floor washer (just kidding).
The collaboration between Luc Besson and Jean-Paul Gaultier in the 1990s sci-fi movie "The Fifth Element" brought a shock to my young mind that continues to this day.
Carrying a sense of clumsiness and clean lines combined with high-saturation colors have always been elements I love dearly.
So, during the design process of this 60, I finally tried to immerse myself in this context…

Type Gnirps & The Pad 2nd Wave

Our latest design for Gnirps&Pad 2.0 is here.

This time, we've continued with the retro industrial deconstruction concept. We've disrupted and reorganized the vintage style with large areas of heavy industrial texture, creating a sharper, retro-futuristic SF style. This blurs the line between vintage and modern, expanding the range of keycap pairing options.

After all, exploring more interesting pairing possibilities has always been a core principle of my design philosophy.

I hope you all like it.

New colors are out! Which one do you like best?

New colors are out! Which one do you like best?

After a long period of tweaking and waiting, I finally have all three color samples of Han's 80 v2.1 NEO in my hands. In terms of color tendencies, it's clear that each of the three colors presents a different style. However, the priority of being "versatile" remains the highest, so in theory, you can boldly try various color styles of keycaps.

After all, "changing clothes" for our keyboards is a very important fun factor for us! I've paired the samples as flamboyantly as possible, so they can serve as a reference. I also look forward to seeing more of your mix-and-match schemes after shipping starts.

Retro High Light is back

Retro High Light is back

Retro High Light was my first complete set of keycaps in collaboration with Winmix. It features ABS injection molding with a high-gloss surface. The version with legends uses our exclusively developed Ultra Firm Heating Silk Screen (UFHSS) technology, which provides a smoother and more refined print compared to traditional silk screen methods and offers significantly improved wear resistance.

The keycaps combine low-saturation colors to create a classic ambiance. Additionally, the set includes extra keys to ensure compatibility with most layouts available on the market.

For those who have been interested but haven’t yet made a purchase, don’t miss this limited-time return!

Finally able to comfortably use the rangefinder patch for macro photography!

Finally able to comfortably use the rangefinder patch for macro photography!

As a rangefinder enthusiast, I've always dreamed of using a rangefinder optical viewfinder to shoot macro shots of products. After all, the world seen through an optical window is completely different from that on a screen. If it were the old Leica Visoflex system that turned a rangefinder into an SLR, it wouldn't have the true rangefinder feel.

Until I discovered the Auto-Up close-up lens that Canon launched in the mid-20th century. Even today, you can get one for just a hundred bucks on eBay and use it perfectly with rangefinder focusing for macro photography!

After unboxing the shabby parcel and attaching it to the Canon Serenar 85 F2, in that moment, I instantly transformed into an emotionless macro artillery. The objects that I previously had to cautiously approach from over a meter away... I can now shoot right up close!

Focus the rangefinder patch! Frame it in the viewfinder! Click! I have to say, shooting macro with a rangefinder is really unique. After all, who wouldn't want to align the rangefinder patch at a distance of 20cm?

From pictures 7 to 15, I've included some test shots. Looking forward to capturing some fun stuff during the holidays.
